The former NHL player is also a very talented golfer in his own right. Quinn is a four-time winner of the American Century Celebrity Classic and reportedly plays to a plus handicap.
Quinn has a good track record thus far on Els’ bag, with a second place finish at the HSBC Champions near the end of last year and a T-5 at the Farmers Insurance Open last week.
Veteran Ricci Roberts (pictured) will not be totally out of the picture, but will still be working for half the year.
This will be Roberts’ third brief split from Els since joining an alliance in 1992, most recently taking over from J P Fitzgerald after the 2008 US Open.
